About Us

Staying in regular contact with each other is essential. I am committing to offer regular gatherings of Road to Joy in-person and on zoom on the second and fourth Sundays at 2 pm. We’re meeting at the Bridgewater Barn in Vermont as well as on zoom. My hope is that we might rotate around to various locations so more folks can connect in-person with this wonderful network of allies. If You’d like to host a gathering of Road to Joy, let me know.

In addition to our worship gatherings on Sundays, I’m also hosting book and film discussions. For films, we started with “Never Again Is Now,” which is available on CHD TV. Details on the film series and discussion are in the Events column. For books, we started with “The Psychology of Totalitarianism” by Mattias Desmet. We're also exploring the "new story"we need to create and tell, using the work of Charles Eisenstein as a springboard..

Here are two additional books we may explore. Stay tuned as we formulate our plan. "United States of Fear: How America Fell Victim to a Mass Delusional Psychosis." by Mark McDonald, MD. He has also written a second book, "Freedom from Fear: A 12 Step Guide to Personal and National Recovery." Still not too late to join in and invite a friend. As we grow and connect, I hope we can host other groups, activities and gatherings. Maybe a hike when the weather warms up a bit?

Let me leave You with these words from Rebbe Nachman of Breslov: “Finding joy is the hardest of all spiritual tasks. If the only way to make yourself happy is by doing something silly, do it.” Looking forward to seeing You in-person and on zoom for some sane, silly sacred time together!
